Chef Neil cooked up a storm as usual. beef and pork rissoles, chicken salad, pasta salad, lettuce and tomato salad and a drink all for $5. And the club still made a small profit.

Finally something the blog. I missed the breakfast but caught up with the crew at the turn off to lake Morris. I had a great day and the drive back down the Mountain was a good test of the Fairlane as the Falcon is in Neils in pieces getting ready for the Cairns Post Car Spectacular later in November. We had such a good time during the day we followed up with dinner at the Balaclava Hotel that night.

November is looking like a busy month with the club showing and running a BBQ at Super Cheap in Manunda to raise funds for the club on the 8Th. The following weekend is a show at the Burnouts then the following weekend is the Cairns Auto spectacular. The last weekend of November is the clubs Christmas Weekend in Cardwell, Big,Big weekend.

Once all this is over the car is back to Neils and out comes the motor and the serious stuff starts. More on that later.

NQ Stadium Drift Weekend

Last Sunday Cairns played host to the Redline Australian Drift series. Part of the day was a Car Show and Shine. The Club took best Display and the HO Falcon was voted best Ford. I did not attend the show as I was flat out at work, Squeaker (Neil) took the Falcon for me. I will post pictures once the other club members post there pictures.

2008 All Ford Day FNQ

For the third year in a row the HO Interceptor has taken the Best AU to BF Falcon at the Cairns All Ford Day Saturday 26th July.

Cars of Cairns took Best post 70 with the Orange Mustang and best station wagon with the 72 Squire wagon.

The 66 Mustang was photographed by my mate Jim Skouras from Street Ford last Thursday. The car should be in the magazine later in the year. The Mustang also appears in this months Performance Ford magazine in the Ingham coverage.

Had a fantastic time today we were promoting Bands on the Beach next weekend. I get to drive Boom Crash Opera to the show and also the prize winners from 4CAFM to Sea Temple for lunch then on to the show with VIP passes then home afterwards.
